Metamorphosis

A progressive fall into nothingness
Where neither thought nor fear abound
Rhythmic systole and diastole
My heart like a sleeping tigress pounds

Nowhere to go but here,
The Solemn peace of the cosmos resounds,
Helical-ly curling around our mortal bodies
The depth of our being knows no bounds!

A touch so tender, a warmth so soft,
Into a cozy grove i morph,
And rest there do i gleefully,
Wishing the moment lasts eternally

Engulfed by a subtle whirl,
Of love, so new, so deep,
Emanating from another world,
Beyond the limits of want or need,
Like a drop of nectar from the divine seed!

Two becomes one,
The Ego is shed,
No more rests anger,
or fear or dread,
The peace of a million ages lost,
Renders itself manifest in us


In us we find ourselves - long lost
Renewed souls, old habits cast,
Into the embers of a fading past,
Hoping, 'forever' the union lasts

Every moment in time stands still
Past hurt and sorrow rendered nil
No space for thought, no room for pain
Attempts at reasoning all in vain

In love, we find our purpose
In love, we find each others' pulse
In love, our whole lives make sense
In love, we find a place to dwell
In love, ceases time and hell
